This 2-panel Shaker style bifold door is popular with homeowners because of its impeccable craftsmanship. The door was assembled with careful attention to detail.

The minimalism characteristic of this style is evident in our line of Shaker doors. These Shaker doors are ideal for anyone looking to add traditional or craftsman style to their home.

This durable interior door features a 2-panel design on 1-3/8" pine. The panels are stacked in a traditional Shaker style. The door comes in a variety of heights and widths to suit most any space in your home. The primed surface still needs to be properly prepared with light sanding before adding paint. Bifold is sold with silver hinge finish only.

Our pine bifold closet doors are made with solid stiles(sides) and rails, allowing some room for trimming; however, the tolerance is minimal as too much trimming may affect the integrity of the door. Please contact customer service to confirm cuts or receive a quote for special dimensions.

Door stiles (sides) and rails (horizontal portion) are made of engineered solid core pine. The inlaid portion of the Shaker style is made with solid MDF.

Features of our primed doors:

  1. No raised wood grain when painting – smoother finish.
  2. No veneer bubbles from water based paints.
  3. MDF stile and rail veneers are a much harder surface than pine, less susceptible to dents or damage.
  4. Water based (latex) paints can be used on the primed doors. Oil based primer and paint is not required on the primed doors as it is on the clear pine doors. This can reduce painting expense.

These doors are made from veneered engineered solid core pine wood. The inner core is made of hardwood in a cross grain pattern bonded together under heat, pressure and glue. The result is a stronger product that limits cracking and splitting of the wood material. Unfinished pine doors require oil-based finishing. For more information, see our Finishing page.

Worth every penny

"I love Door to Door. They perfectly fill the market need for semi-customizable and fully customizable doors that aren't 1 million dollars. They make great quality doors that are leaps and bounds nicer than the hollow core cardboard doors from big box stores. They're never late. I love Door to Door. 10/10."

Happy Customer

"Great quality doors. Shipped fast. No damage upon arrival. Had an issue getting a callback from the sales department, but otherwise I highly recommend this company."

Paul K. (5/5)

Very sturdy, high-quality.

"You get what you pay for. These doors are very well made and quite heavy, a testament to the wood used. They were also very well packed -- wrapped, heavy-cardboard boxed, shrink-wrapped and wooden-crated on a palette. Had a hitch with delivery because the giant 18-wheel truck couldn't make it up the driveway (of course), but Old Dominion sent someone back the next day to deliver in a pick-up truck."

Q&A

Someone mentioned a video? My installer has been unable to get these to close tight. Plumb issue who knows???
If you go to our Home Page and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find a video marked: "How to replace a Bifold". This should help give you the guidance you need. But overall, it is very important that your Finished Opening is plumb, and where the overhead track and bottom L-Bracket line up, that you drop a plumb line(string) -to make sure it's all line up perfectly.
What is the weight of the bifold door? Thank you.
30" x 80" = 30 lbs.
is a 28" bifold 2- 14" doors ?
Yes. The bifold consists of two panels attached with hinges. In this case a 28"bifold would be (2) 14" panels. Our bifolds include hardware and trackware. The only thing not included are the knobs. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing back from you. Regards, Pippi
Are the bifold doors solid core? Also what portions of this door are pine and what portions are MDF?
Hi - Yes they are solid wood doors!
