Our shaker doors were a no-brainer for the Gaskins family as they wanted to achieve a rustic look with a touch of contemporary. They wanted to keep with the classic Charleston style, but update with a healthy mix of new, old and industrial.
Once they selected the sizes of their doors, they ordered and we had them delivered in less than a week. Their contractor offered to install and had them up before the following Monday!
Take a look at a few before and after pictures below.

The Gaskins own a beverage catering company that specializes in bar rentals, and also own a popular new restaurant in St. John USVI. It shouldn’t be a suprise that are going to have a state of the art wetbar in their home. The glass cabinet style they chose pairs nicely with the shaker doors.
Another component to the Gaskins’ renovation is the shiplap siding they added. This style is being seen more and more in new homes, especially in HGTV’s popular show Fixer Upper, and you can often find it underneath your plaster walls. A lot of people are finding this in their older homes, and stripping the plaster and letting the horizontal wood planks show.
